The trek includes two peaks, the smallest Shesh Parvatha and the highest, Kumara Parvatha at 5,600 feet. Legend has it that Shesh Parvatha protects the Kukke Subramanya Temple at the base.
The two-day trek covers a distance of 14 km. The route is closed during the monsoon and opens in October until February. The trail is beautiful, winding through thick hardwood forests and vast meadows. Steep climbs in some parts make the task slightly difficult. Hikers should pay attention to leeches, especially just after the monsoon.
This trek takes you through beautiful dense forests with steep climbs. The trek is ideal for beginners or experienced hikers. The peak offers a panoramic view of fascinating western ghats, deep jungles and deep cliffs.
