It is Pushkar Lake. It is located within the city of Pushkar, situated in Ajmer. This Pushkar Lake is a significant location of pilgrimage for Hindus. There is a belief that taking a bath within Pushkar Lake will cleanse one’s sins and treat skin conditions.

In addition to that, the Brahma temple located close to Pushkar Lake is also a magnet for an enormous number of visitors from across the country and the globe. There are around 500 Hindu temples situated along the banks of Pushkar Lake. The lake is home to about 52 bathing ghats and thousands of pilgrims visiting these ghats in search of the holy waters, particularly during Kartik Purnima.

The Brahma temple is among the major attractions around Pushkar Lake. The present structure dates up to the 14th century; however, the first temple is over 2 000 years old. In ancient texts, the Pushkar Lake is called Tirtha Raj and is thought to be the King of all pilgrimage sites. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan.
