Dolphin’s Nose Dolphin’s nose, located approximately 12 km from Coonoor, is approximately 1500 meters above sea level. The tip of this huge cliff top resembles a dolphin’s nose and is one of Tamil Nadu’s most popular tourist destinations. It is located in the middle of the hills of the Nilgiris hills (or Blue Mountains). The giant rock formation is absolutely unprecedented. Huge canyons can be found on either side of the resort, with a clear view of the Catherine Falls, another popular tourist destination with a current of several thousand meters below, a short distance from the dolphin’s nose.
