Summer: Chopta’s weather remains salty in summer. The Himalayas are clearly visible and the cool breeze can be felt early in the morning and late in the evening. It is recommended to carry light wool yarns.
Monsoon: Chopta turns greener during the monsoon season. While hiking becomes challenging and you have the potential to prevent you from landslides for a couple of hours, the Chopta Natural Beauty during the monsoon is worth the risk. Wearing raincoats is recommended.
Winters: The area is covered with snow during the winter season and there is only a limited number of accommodation options. But Chopta looks best in winters and hiking really gets harder. Carrying heavy wool is recommended.
