Namchi is the seat of the south district and has been a bustling city. It is also known as “Top of the Sky” because of the two enormous statues. These two massive statues meet on opposite slopes of Namchi and draw many tourists. This beautiful location is ideal for tourists. It has great views of the Khangchendzonga mountain ridge and the Rangit valley. There are two other places you can visit there: the Dichen Choeling monastery and Sherdup Choeling monastery. It is one of the most popular places to visit in Sikkim.
It is Sikkim’s capital and quickly becomes a tourist attraction due to its many pilgrimage centers. It is definitely worth a visit. Namchi has many luxurious hotels. Existing hotels are well-equipped to provide comfortable accommodation. It is a great place to relax with its bars and spas. Two kilometers away from Namchi lies the ancient Ngadak monastery. This is where you will find the largest statue anywhere in the world. The Rock Garden is located just above the Ngadak monastery and is a popular tourist attraction because of the unique flowers available every spring.
