Miramar Beach
Miramar Beach in Panjim, located in the capital of Goa, is the state’s longest beach. It stretches for as much as 2 kilometers and is situated at the confluence of the Mandovi River. However, it was changed to “Miramar,” meaning “to gaze at the sea.” Silvery stretches of white sand are surrounded by blue oceanic waves and palm trees on one side. It is a popular spot for families, honeymooners, and barbeque parties. In winter, the beach is an excellent spot for birdwatchers, when many migratory birds can be seen here, including plovers, gulls, and other plovers. Several watersports are available on the beach for adventure seekers, such as boat rides or dolphin-spotting. Miramar has many restaurants, pubs, cafes, and other eateries that line its shores
