Some of the famous attractions of Munnar are: Eravikulam National Park A large population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr flourishes in this park. It is a home to the largest viable population of Nilgiri Tahr in the world. It also provides shelter to other wildlife species such as lion-tailed macaque, leopards, gaurs, langur, elephants, sambars and tigers. Atlas Moth, the largest moth in the world is also found here. Anamudi Peak Located within the Eravikulam Park is the fascinating Anamudi Peak which is the highest peak in South India.
