Kutta
Kutta is a small border town of Karnataka district in Kodagu . As such, Kutta has no major tourist attractions. But it is at the center of some popular tourist attractions in the area.
Kutta is the gateway to Nagarhole National Park, especially for those coming to Kerala. Location wise Kutta is a few kilometers from the border between Kerala and Karnataka and the road that connects Kerala to Karnataka and passes through Kutta. This route also passes through another wildlife preserve – Tholpetty – shortly after entering Kerala.
The Kodagu region is famous for its sprawling coffee plantations and “homestay” tourism. Kutta is as south as possible in Kodagu. Although Kutta itself offers home-stay options, other popular spots such as Gonikoppal and Virajpet are connected by road from Kutta.
In a way, Kutta is a gateway between Karnataka and the Kerala Wayanad district.
